The National Environment Management Authority (hereinafter called “NEMA”) was established under the National Environment Act, Cap.153 in May 1995 (hereinafter called the “Act”). This has now been repealed by the National Environment Act No.5 of 2019 and mandated “as the principal agency in Uganda for regulating, supervising and coordinating all activities relating to the environment.

NEMA invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following vacant positions:

1.Senior Manager Environment Compliance
2.Senior Manager Environment Planning and Coordination
3.Senior Manager Environment Enforcement and Field Operations
4.Senior Manager Human Resource, Finance and Administration
5.Regional Manager ( 6 Positions)
6.Manager Environment Protection Force
7.Manager Environment Inspections, Monitoring and Audits
8.Principal Environment Intelligence Officer
9.Principal Investigations Officer

requirements for the positions of Senior Manager Environment Enforcement and Field Operations, Manager Environment Protection Force, Principal Environment Intelligence Officer and Principal Investigations Officer may respond to this Internal Advert for only the said positions subject to their internal clearance processes as appropriate.
